Onkyo Receivers from the 1970’s

Onkyo is a Japanese audio equipment manufacturer that was established in 1946. While it did produce receivers in the 1970s, it gained significant popularity in the 1980s and 1990s. Some notable Onkyo receivers from the 1970s include:
Onkyo TX-4500 Mk II (1977): This receiver had a power output of 80 watts per channel and featured a classic silver face design. It was known for its robust construction and high-quality audio performance.

Quality Audio Equipment

Onkyo TX-5500 (1975): With a power output of 60 watts per channel, the TX-5500 offered a reliable performance and a sleek design. Specifically this receiver included features such as FM/AM tuner, phono input, and tape inputs/outputs.
Onkyo TX-6500 Mk II (1978): This receiver boasted a power output of 85 watts per channel and was popular for its clean and detailed sound reproduction. It featured a stylish black faceplate and had multiple audio inputs and outputs.
