Onkyo Amplifiers from the 1970’s

Vintage Onkyo amplifiersIn the 1970s, Onkyo released several amplifiers that became highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors. Here are a few notable models from that era:
Onkyo A-10: Introduced in 1973, the A-10 was one of Onkyo’s early successful amplifiers. It featured a power output of around 20 watts per channel and a clean, warm sound signature.
Onkyo A-7: Released in 1975, the A-7 is another popular offering and still available online. It had a power output of 35 watts per channel and a distinctive design with large VU meters.Onkyo A-10

Onkyo A-5: The A-5 amplifier came out in 1977 and had a power output of 45 watts per channel. It was known for its reliability and smooth sound reproduction.
Onkyo A-10C: The A-10C was the upgraded version of the A-10 and introduced in 1978. With a power output of 30 watts per channel, it offered improved circuitry and better sound quality.
Onkyo A-7C: Similar to the A-10C, the A-7C was an upgraded version of the A-7. It featured a power output of 40 watts per channel and introduced some improvements to the original design.
